Season Outlook: Waverly had a great run into the playoffs and came within a game of reaching their first Class B championship game appearance since their 1980 state title run. First year head coach Reed Manstedt says this team is excited to build off of their semifinal finish against eventual state champ Omaha Skutt, plus an experienced group of seniors and good skill position players could help in having success. One key element to the line will be development, with some young talent moving up.
