The Patriots led 41-40 heading into the fourth quarter. Krull scored on a pair of layups and Bailey Urban sank two free throws for a 48-42 advantage.
After taking a timeout, East then scored on back-to-back possessions. Senior Regan Sankey hit a three-pointer and Charli Bovaird also connected on a tray to tie the game at 48.
Then East went cold and Millard South got red-hot in the final four minutes, where Krull scored 12 points during the 16-0 run to cap off the win.
In the first half, the game went back and fourth but East had a 30-27 halftime lead before the Patriots started chipping away and taking control.
East finishes the year 22-5 and was led by Sankey's 13 points and 10 rebounds.
