- BOYS BASKETBALL: Big 2nd Quarter Boosts LSE

Lincoln Southeast used a 22-8 second quarter to help them take down Millard North 73-57 Saturday afternoon at the Prasch Activities Building.
Sam Morris scored 11 of his 13 points in the second frame including two dunks to spark the Knights. Millard North (6-8) had cut the lead to 8 at 25-13 with 5:50 left before falling behind 31-13 at halftime.
Lincoln Southeast (7-8) would push their lead to 30 with less than 6 minutes left in the final quarter before Nick Ferrarini connected on four three pointers to cut the lead to 65-50 with 3 minutes left.
Sophomore Trevor Dockum came off the bench for the Knights and scored 9 of his game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter helping keep the Mustangs at bay.
Ferrarini finished with 16 points with all of them in the 4th quarter to lead the Mustangs. John Timmerman added 12.
Nine Knights scored in the contest. Brayden Day, Morris and Dockum all tallied double figures.
