THESE ARE THE FINAL RATINGS BEFORE DISTRICT AND STATE TOURNAMENT PLAY.  FINAL SEASON RATINGS WILL BE POSTED ON MARCH 15TH.


Boys

Class A

1. Norfolk 22-0
2. Omaha South 19-3
3. Omaha Creighton Prep 21-2
4. Omaha North 20-3
5. Millard West 17-5
6. Lincoln High 19-4
7. Lincoln Northeast 18-5
8. Bellevue West 17-6
9. South Sioux City 15-8
10. Papillion-LaVista 14-8

Comments: Lincoln High, Northeast, Bellevue West and Papillion-LaVista each drop a spot from last week's top ten. Millard West moves up and South Sioux City re-enters the top ten.  Creighton Prep is the overall No. 1 team in the NSAA's point standings, while Norfolk is No. 2.


Class B

1. Beatrice 19-1
2. Gretna 21-2
3. Scottsbluff 18-4
4. Elkhorn South 17-4
5. Sidney 20-3
6. Hastings Adams Central 19-4
7. Bennington 17-5
8. Aurora 18-5
9. Crete 14-7
10. Seward 18-5

Comments: Not much of a change, except Adams Central slipping a spot after losing at Kearney Catholic.  Crete moves back in to the top ten, after upsetting Seward, forcing the Bluejays to drop to No. 10.  Omaha Skutt drops out after a loss to Gretna.

Class A 

1. Omaha Benson 24-0

4. Omaha Westside 19-4
5. Millard West 19-5
6. Kearney 18-5
7. Omaha Central 14-6

Comments:  Papillion-LaVista moves into the top ten with an upset of Millard West, who falls from No. 3 to No. 5.  Central, South Sioux City and Fremont each drop a spot after losses.


Class B


1. Lincoln Pius X 17-2
2. Norris 16-5
3. Platteview 19-4
4. Elkhorn South 17-6
5. York 19-4
6. Waverly 14-7
7. Beatrice 15-7
8. Elkhorn 16-6
9. Holdrege 15-7
10. Gretna 14-7

Comments: Waverly gets a big boost after winning six straight games to end the regular season.  Platteview stays at No. 3 despite loss at Pius X.  York drops a couple of spots after loss to Beatrice.
