Norris Titans
Head Coach: Jim Jacobsen (4th year)

2012 Record: 10-3 (Class B Runner-up)

Returning Starters: Jakson Reetz 6-0, 200, Sr.; AJ Flodman 6-0, 175, Sr.; CJ Adamson 5-10, 185, Sr., Byron Hood 5-10, 160, Sr.; Nolan Graham 5-11, 185, Sr.; Riley Kentfield 6-2, 225, Jr., Josh Gutzmer 6-4, 195, Sr.

Other lettermen/newcomers: Mike Johnson, Sr.; Bryton Bell, Jr.; Alex Thimm, Sr.; Grant Albers, Jr.; Blaise Eason, Jr.; Ryan Hurt, Sr.; James Preston, Sr.; Jason Holm, Sr.; Ryan Bellinghausen, Sr.; Dakota Anderson, Sr.; Dugg Ehlers, Jr.; Jacob Green, Jr.; John Janousek, Sr.; Jesse Docter, Sr.; Jake Bornschlegl, Sr.; Quinten Wells, Jr.; Kyle Kielian, Sr.

Coach Jacobsen's season preview: "We are very excited about our fourth team here at Norris.  We have a great group of kids that will represent Norris the right way.  We need to replace some very good players who have graduated, but in Nebraska Class B football this is the case every season.  We are confident we have many players that will do what it takes to step up and play good high school football.  We need to have great production in the off season.  This is a team that could be a very good high school football team."

Comments:  Not much of a loss of players compared to last year's runner-up team, but look for Norris to be a solid contender for the Class B crown.  Reetz back at quarterback and Flodman and Hood returning as key receivers could be the difference makers.  Defensively, Norris should be one of the toughest around.  They will have to be competitive against several top notch teams, one of which includes Crete on October 18. Beatrice and Seward could be tough enough to provide a challenge, but the Titans could likely come out as the district champ in B-5.

Key games: 9/13 vs. Gretna, 10/11 vs. Beatrice, 10/18 at Crete, 10/25 vs. Seward.
