LINCOLN NORTHEAST 56, LINCOLN HIGH 7:  Northeast quarterback Tyler Francis had a field day through the air to lead Northeast  (3-3) to a 56-7 victory.  Francis threw for 244 yards on 12-of-17 passing, with no interceptions and four touchdowns, and Yusef Wade hauled in two of the TD tosses and returned a punt 76 yards for a score.  Although the Links (2-4) pulled to  14-7 when Gabriel Smail scored  from the 14 with 14 seconds left in the first period, it was all Francis, Wade and the Rockets from there.  Despite grinding out just 19 yards on 19 carries in the first half, Northeast led 35-7.
LINCOLN SOUTHWEST 40, NORFOLK 28:  Lincoln Southwest stayed unbeaten in district play, converting on fourth down to maintain possession and driving for the clinching touchdown in a 40-28 win at Norfolk’s Memorial Field on Friday.  Southwest quarterback Rylan Cotton rushed for 148 yards and threw for 209 yards on just six completions.  Cotton’s 65-yard pass to Ethan Tompkins capped the game-clinching drive for Southwest with less than three minutes to play.  Cotton also hit Dylan Heath with an 80-yard strike in the first quarter, and the junior scored on 62- and 25-yard runs.
LINCOLN CHRISTIAN 31, PALMYRA 13: Lincoln Christian’s Devin Paulsen completed 10-of-16 passes for 192 yards. Wes Negley rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries and Austin Mathers had three catches for 115 yards as Lincoln Christian rolled past Palmyra 31-13. Palmyra had 260 yards of total offense. Negley also had 49 receiving yards and a 35-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter.

FAIRBURY 42, LINCOLN LUTHERAN 13: Lincoln Lutheran ran for 202 yards, but hurt itself by turning over the ball over five times.  Fairbury’s Devin Schmidt rushed 17 times for 229 yards and four touchdowns. Quarterback Lee Horky 129 yards passing.  Lutheran quarterback Isaiah Bockelman returned a 92-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on the Warriors’ first possesion. Bockelman rushed for 67 yards on 12 carries and passed for 45 yards as well.  Tobin Wyatt led the Warriors with 81 yards rushing on 10 carries.
