- Lutheran escapes with win on the road at Christian
After lead changes in the 4th quarter, Lincoln Christian's Jason Harms missed a free throw opportunity to tie and Brandon Kavan's missed last second despiration shot from half-court left Lincoln Lutheran with their heads up high and beating the Crusaders for a second year in a row. The Warriors won by the final of 44-43 in front of a near capacity crowd at Lincoln Christian. Lutheran got a big boost in the 3rd quarter as Derek Groskurth scored 13 of his game high 20 points, including knocking down three trays. Outside shooting from Groskurth countered the height advantage from Christian, who was led by Harms with 15 points and T.J. Rexilius with 12.
