Defending Class A state champion Bellevue West shook off the cobwebs early in their matchup with Lincoln Southeast Saturday night and held on for a 75-61 win to capture the championship of the Great Nebraska Shootout at the Prasch Activities Center. The Knights 6-10 junior center Matt Hill had a game high 22 points and 24 rebounds and had three blocked shots in opening minutes of the game against the Thunderbirds. Four players from Bellevue West were in double-digits in scoring: Michael Jenkins with 18, Chris Howard with 14, Creighton recruit Josh Dotzler chipped in 13, and Jake Meyer finished with 10.
