LINCOLN PIUS X 46, OMAHA SKUTT 44, OT: Lindsay Determan hit a jumper with four seconds left in overtime to help the Class B second-ranked Thunderbolts improve to 14-2. Pius X overcame an eight-point halftime deficit with a 10-0 run to begin the third quarter. The Thunderbolts were led by Natalie Braun, who had seven of her game-high 20 points in the third quarter.

LINCOLN EAST 54, OMAHA CENTRAL 41: Seniors Kelsey Newman and Natalie Ebke scored 14 and 11 points, respectively, to lead the seventh-ranked Spartans, who improved to 14-4. Central (6-9) cut a 28-14 halftime deficit to 29-21 midway through the third quarter before back-to-back three-pointers by Newman and Ebke jump-started a 10-0 East run that opened up an 18-point lead. The Eagles were paced by sophomore Jalissa Felici with 13 points and 11 from freshman guard Emily Gamble.

BELLEVUE WEST 67, LINCOLN SOUTHWEST 35: In the girls’ game, Bellevue West counted on the strong play of posts Emily Hauder and Alexis Akin-Otiko. Akin-Otiko scored 18 of her 20 points in the first half to help the second-ranked Thunderbirds take a 36-26 lead at halftime. Hauder chipped in 12 of her 22 points in the second half as Bellevue West pulled away. Tina Fantroy scored 15 points for Southwest.

KEARNEY 54, NORTH STAR 39: Nicole Arp scored 20 points and Maggie Maher added 19 for the Bearcats at North Star. Kearney took a 37-13 halftime lead and held off a North Star rally in the second half. Siteena Ebrahim had 12 points for North Star, while Emily Weber finished with six of the Navigators’ 12 steals.

OMAHA BENSON 62, LINCOLN HIGH 36: Omaha Benson jumped to a 15-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and cruised. The Bunnies were led by senior guard Kiki Harrison’s 10 points as they ended a six-game losing streak to improve to 6-12. Lincoln High got 10 points from Nakuya Smith and nine from Courtney Holder, but fell to 0-17. 

LINCOLN CHRISTIAN 53, NORRIS 45: In Firth, the Crusaders outscored the Titans 30-16 in the second half and were 15-of-19 from the free-throw line. Joelle Andersen and Morgan Dority each had 13 points for the Class C-1 No. 10 Crusaders. Ashley Schroeder led Norris with 16. 

FAIRBURY 41, LINCOLN LUTHERAN 21: The Jeffs jumped to a 25-10 halftime lead and cruised  in Fairbury. Mandy Osborne and Amy Simpson each had 11 points to pace Fairbury (12-6), which hit only 8 of 17 free throws. Lydia Pomerenke had six points for Lutheran. 

LEWISTON 48, PARKVIEW CHRISTIAN 29: The Tigers outscored Parkview 32-12 in the second and third quarters to pull away in Lewiston. The Tigers’ Jessica Tatro scored 23 points, including four three-point goals. Parkview Christian, led by Amy Strop’s 11.
