*LINCOLN SOUTHWEST 70, GRAND ISLAND 55: Garrett Nitz, Kyle Headley, Devin Douglass-Wiley and Jake Marvin each scored 14 points in Grand Island to lead the Class A top-ranked Silver Hawks, who pulled away by scoring 21 points in both the second and third quarters.

* COLLEGE VIEW ACADEMY 54, PRAGUE 39: College View’s Seth Gaskin racked up big numbers across the board, leading his team with 19 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks, and five steals. Teammate Carlos Moura also finished with 19 points, 13 of which came in the fourth quarter, propelling CVA to the win.

* LINCOLN NORTHEAST 56, NORTH PLATTE 50: North Platte carried a three-point advantage into the final five minutes of the fourth quarter before Northeast seized control of the game’s tempo and built a lead.  Northeast’s efficiency at the free-throw line as the game neared its end proved crucial in keeping the lead. Jordan Brown and Tommy Johnson finished the night in double figures, each totalling 11. For North Platte, both Quinton Standage and Trey Moore scored 14 points.

* EASTERN MIDLANDS FINAL: WAVERLY 56, GRETNA 46 -- Waverly got off to an early 27-14 halftime lead, but the Dragons cut the Vikings lead to seven after three quarters. Waverly held on and made 13-of-18 free throws in the fourth quarter to clinch the championship. Tyler Evans led Waverly with 24 points and made seven fourth-quarter free throws.
