LINCOLN NORTH STAR 52, PAPILLION-LA VISTA SOUTH 51: Amilio Boone of North Star put back an offensive rebound with 12 seconds left to put  North Star ahead. After a timeout with five seconds left, the Titans’ final shot bounced off the rim.

LINCOLN HIGH 70, GRAND ISLAND 49: Pete Uhing’s 18 points all came on three-pointers, and three Links finished in double figures. Michael Partee and Dylan Flinn each added 13 points. Logan Almond’ led Grand Island with 18 points. 

LINCOLN SOUTHWEST 43, OMAHA WESTSIDE 39: The Silver Hawks won the Basketball Blizzard, as junior Jordan Tyrance and senior Ethan Thompkins each scored eight points.

LINCOLN EAST 78, OMAHA NORTH 72, OT: Trailing by six points midway through overtime, the Class A seventh-ranked Spartans responded by scoring the final 12 points in the third-place game of the New Year Classic. Drew Sankey scored 21 points and Tyson Clark added 20 for the Spartans (6-4). LaRell Blackstone had 19 points and 11 assists to lead the Vikings (1-7).
