LINCOLN SOUTHWEST 58, PAPILLION-LAVISTA SOUTH 56, OT:  Jake Marvin scored a career high 25 points, 23 of which came in the 2nd half and overtime period to help the Silver Hawks in the win and face Omaha Westside in the Basketball Blizzard championship tonight at 7pm.  

OMAHA WESTSIDE 65, LINCOLN NORTH STAR 50:  The Navigators  trailed by a basket heading into fourth quarter and were outscored 21-8. Joe Hartley, Jerry Key and Amilio Boone each scored in double figures for North Star. Omaha Westside’s Kyle Hartman hit four three-pointers and led all scorers with 18 points.

LINCOLN NORTHEAST 76, KEARNEY 47:  The Rockets jumped out to a 16-2 lead after the 1st quarter and led 34-14 at hafltime.  Dol Kutey had a double-double for Northeast (6-3), scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

LINCOLN SOUTHEAST 63, COLUMBUS 45:  Taylor Price scored 23 points to lead the Knights.  Southeast's 6-7 center Matt Hagerbaumer only scored five points, but made up for it by grabbing 16 rebounds and blocking six shots.  Columbus had 16 turnovers in the game.

WAVERLY 72, NEBRASKA CITY 45:  Tyler Evans scored 21 points to lead Waverly (7-1) and Derek Hilt added 12 points in the win.  

FREMONT 57, LINCOLN EAST 54: Alex Hamilton's three-pointer with 1:02 to play gave the Tigers the lead for good in the semifinals of the New Year Classic at East High. Garrett Cobb scored 25 to lead Fremont (4-5). Seventh-ranked East (5-4) led by four with 3:16 to play. Drew Sankey led the Spartans with 20 points, while Reece Schwartz added 11 points for East.

LINCOLN PIUS X 62, LEXINGTON 60:   Free throws were the key for the Thunderbolts, who were 18-for-25 from the charity stripe including a 9-for-13 effort in the final quarter. Trevor Johnson posted a game-high 20 points in the victory.

LINCOLN LUTHERAN 59, HEARTLAND 33: The Warriors led by just four points at halftime, but outscored Heartland 41-19 after the break. Eric Beckman led the way for  Lutheran with 21 points and Isiah Bockelman added 12.
